Steve Brown is the author of There Will Be Brighter Days.  In it, he tells the story of the sudden and tragic loss of his wife, Mara, of 18 years, and the struggle to deal with such a devastating loss. He also describes the difficulties of how he is now raising four children on his own.

The book has a sole purpose; to help everyone be better prepared to deal with loss and how to cope with it afterward.  There is also a section on how to interact with those who are dealing with loss.

He wrote the book as a message to everyone that even though we will all deal with loss of various types, we can all regain our lives, and once again have happy and fulfilling futures.

He has spoken at hospice fundraising events and gave a TEDx talk for a national healthcare company.

Steve and his four children are once again thriving and living happy lives in Austin, Texas.
